Yes it was a permissions issue; it seems I need to reset the group permissions when a member makes a new Personal Album.

Your steps:

go to your album, click on an image and collect the album image number. It will be at the end of the page URL and it will be listed on the page as "BBCode:[albumimg]IMAGE#[/albumimg]"

after you submit your post, the thumbnail should display until you click on the image

When I do that - or when anyone does that - (cause we figured this much out for ourselves already hehe) - shows us exactly what we want - we think we have posted a successful img as a thumbnail and it shows up for anyone who actually posted the message the way it should.

But as I mentioned - ANYONE ELSE looking at the message - it doesn't show up.

All anyone else sees is the IMG number from the gallery (ie: 212) it appears as a link and if someone clicks on that link they get taken to a page that says general error - no authorization.

This is what led me to go on a merry search of the internet to find the solution =)

**Edit - Our guildleader managed to finally track down the person who owns our board and she fixed whatever setting was causing the issue =)

Hello,

I Hope this is the proper place to ask this question - I was pointed here from the folks over at phpbb.com =)

Basically in a nutshell - We are trying to figure out how to post a thumbnail from a image that is located in "My Album" on the forums.

We know it can be done - as a user (who is no longer with us) has done so in the past - but we have no idea how they did it.

We know we can use the IMG tags to simply link the image - however that is a full size image, and we are trying to get a thumbnail.

We get it to view properly for the person posting the message - but anyone else viewing it only gets to see the images album number and if they click it - they get a general error that states they don't have access.

Really hoping Helter or anyone here really can be of assistance!
