okay tried re uploading -- still a bomber. I left a few files out during installation that i realised later after. Permissions are set, all files are uploaded now and still same error. How do i reinstall while still keeping registered users and posts? Or do you know what's wrong?

Sorry about the bump --

I went through all my permissions and a lot of them I must have missed due to not realising that u can't set permissions on groups at a time =P on this particular FTP program, anyway.

So everything is set now and I am getting exact same error.

I uploaded db_update1-5.php and went thru all the steps up until it said load everything and set permissions. Then when i proceeded to next step i got about 5 errors. I realised I didnt upload a few files so now it's just that 1 error.

Maybe i still skipped a file? I'm going to try re uploading and setting permissions again

are you sure you uploaded all the files? im getting a 404 error when looking for portal.php and album.php meaning they are not there.

missing two folders wont affect the scripts, but you will have errors because the folders have to interact with the updated db. just upload the missing folders and set all the file permissions as instructed.

if it is still not working, describe in detail the update process you did.

ps. please do not bump your post the same day you made it. Besides it is counter-productive because many ppl who might look to see if they can help, may bypass it thinking that since there is activity, it is already being handled

Upgrading from original php to integramod.

On the stage where I was supposed to upload everything, I suddenly realised I missed 2 folders. This seems to have effected my entire installation..

Right now I got it down to only one fatal error,

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: attach_setup_forum_auth() in /homepages/9/d165249283/htdocs/forums/includes/def_auth.php on line 83
"

If anyone knows how to fix this fatal error, let me know! If not....... then can someone tell me how to start this installation over without killing all the registered members and posts I already have ?

edit: Line 83 is:

attach_setup_forum_auth($simple_auth_ary, $forum_auth_fields, $field_names);

I don't know too much about php, but it's calling for 3 scripts. The 1st and 3rd are there.. but forum_auth_fields is nowhere to be found on that page! No idea if it uses other files to call it, so i could be wrong...
