Re: Another BlueSteel question

Which file are you editing? You said line 112 but the one you pasted only has around 88 lines.

Post your exact error you are getting and attach the file of the one you are editing as well as the one you pasted here. Attach the real file not just quoted code so I can look at it

Re: Static header frame

The first one might not actually be too difficult. It could be possible to turn off forum headers, set up a new portal page and create a block with the iframe to index.php. EDIT: Doesn't seem to work, probably a conflict somewhere. That's what I was worried about, there are far more things than I a...

Re: Daily Database Backup- What's it worth?

Yea it might be just different programs sizing the file differently You ever notice how if you hold your mouse over a file/folder on say your desktop it shows a size, then say the same file you upload via ftp later, it shows a completely different size... then later in file manager it shows it a dif...

Re: This Site is 1.4.1 Now???

Whoa, I had no idea you already had a black theme made HelterSkelter.

I realise how similar they look now and I will not be releasing mine. Didn't mean to step on any toes <img>

Edit: It was based off integra2 anyways

Re: Another BlueSteel question

Before I get into looking through all these files I have a hunch <img> What ftp program are you using? Hopefully you don't say CoffeeCup Free ftp... I need you to try something first... 1) Find and rename the file that you edited by adding the bracket in, to "file.php-orig" 2) Find and ren...

Re: Static header frame

Well, that works but it strips the index of all the images, tables, etc I think overall_header.tpl holds the beginning of the middle structure per il index.php doesn't it? and the overall_footer.tpl finishes it? what if we created a duplicate of index.php and index_body.tpl but changed them as neede...

Re: This Site is 1.4.1 Now???

Well, even though as Michaelo stated above, that we do often regret some of the things we say, I don't. Mine was a post for everyone that comes here, for the developers, the beta team, the styles people, the admins, owners, the mods, the users, everyone. Just to let you step back and remember everyt...

Re: This Site is 1.4.1 Now???

I have a beta site for 141, and that's what im messing with learning themes on its http://www.black-fusion.com But I don't have the script like yours to allow people to change styles so I can't show different ones, they'd have to do it in their profile. Basically I'm learning the way templates work,...

Re: [Request] Points Goal

You could use the built in rank system to have your users get a picture automatically once they reach a certain amount of points but as far as a seperate page that shows where they are all at, and how much to go and time etc, you'd have to make that

Re: This Site is 1.4.1 Now???

Every time I see a post like Aquilo's I imagine what must be going through the main developers heads as well as those of us that try our best to be a contributor in what ways we can. I realise that people must get impatient but try and realise that you are complaining about the speed of a progress i...

Small typo bug found in 141 rc5

I noticed a small typo with the link to an image while making another theme for IM 1.4.1. While you are viewing (viewforum.php) after clicking a forum, under the forums list there are the folder icons (icon legend). The error is in the icon that tells you that you've posted in the forum. * Image nam...
