Smartfeed seems to be the best parser around. It even, apparently, parses curly quotes which is the number one reason why most feeds won't validate. Curly quotes being used in MS Word etc., so people copy and paste from there into a post and it breaks the feed. I'll be looking at how smartfeed works...

May want to also change the CHMOD section to include all files that need CHMODing(from the full install package). Seems a lot of issues people are having when updating is that the CHMODs are not preserved when files are overwritten.

Crackertracker seems to be banning spammers even when their user_id is -1, which means it's banning all guests. This is obviously a bad thing, and a patch will be available soon to rectify the situation. For now turn off spammer protection.

I tried integrating this a short while ago as well. Many of the functions translate without a lot of work, while other just don't work at all and seemingly without reason. As soon as my todo list shrinks a little, I'll look at this again.
