The Google Analytics Blog has announced that you no longer need an invitation to receive the Website statistics tracking for free. Just head on over to the Google Analytics site and login with you Google account. It will then take your through the steps that are needed to setup your Website.

Hey thanks man! I'm sure this will help me tremendously! Just need to figure out where to stick the tracking code. I'm thinking overall_footer.tpl.

Yep. overall_footer.tpl is the right file. Put the code before </body> and your good to go. <img>

anyone else not got this working i added the link to overall_footer.tpl and checked the status on google and it's saying its not installed.

Any tips

I think it can take up to 48 hours fro the data to reach google...
