Which one to use?

PostAuthor: helitown » Sat Feb 10, 2007 9:07 am

I am running a Phpbb 2.0.21 forum with coppermine gallery. I wanted it a portal and I was testing IMPortal from integramod.com and ezPortal from Smartor.com. I seems to like IMPortal better. Now I found there are IngeraMOD and IngeraMOD2 and I am confused as to what I can use. I want the latest and greatest possible so can anybody explain to me what are the different between these and which one I can use to compliment my existing forum and the gallery? I am not a very technical person, so please, the more infor the better.
Thanks
Eddie

To my knowledge IngeraMod (integramod.com) has several bugs and upgrading is not an option... you can check the site to confirm this. IntegraMod 2 (this site) supports upgrading from all version of phpBB2...

I already have IMportal on my forum. So can I put IntegraMod2 on top of my IMportal. The only thing I am worried about is IntegraMod2 comes with a Smartor gallery (if I am right) and I already have Coppermine gallery on my forum. I know my question is very elemetary, so please forgive me if it does not make sense.

Mike is refuring to the main project of the sites. integramod.com released integramod2.0. This is the project that is buggy and has no upgrade future.
integramod2.com (which evolved to this site) released IntegraMOD 141.
However IMPortal 1.2.0, which is available from both sites, is the same. This is the core mod of all versions of Integramod.

Thanks for clarification and now I understand alittle bit all these different names. So if now I want to install IntegraMOD 141 do I have to remove the IMPortal first?
Thanks
