This error shows when I open Configuration in the ACP

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: style_select() in /hsphere/local/home/myname/mysite.com/home/admin/admin_board.php on line 211

Also when i open Auto language detection
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: language_select() in /hsphere/local/home/myname/mysite.com/home/admin/admin_auto_lang.php on line 209

i started from scratch again and now i'm getting an install error

The file ../includes/phpbb_security.php cannot be opened due to insufficient security settings. Please check the chmod instructions in the install guide.

I uploaded the zip and decompressed it
I checked all the chmod and they are correct

I will scrap it all again and try again <img>

well after 4 times of starting from scratch i got it installed and working

I have never had a problem installing before

I would definatly make sure Register Globals is off, but that is not what caused the problem.
