Next IM and HTML validation

PostAuthor: richiebgood » Sat Nov 17, 2007 12:30 pm

I am just curious, the next version of IM, will there be any though given to correcting the HTML validation errors. I have something like 200 in mine. I read before that are not really errors, just a result of a table base CSS or something.... I don't really care, I am not coder. It is looks ok I am happy.

All I want, am am getting from IM is the ability to build a large and great website.... with a forum with very little knowledge of HTML / PHP. The only snag is when you ask people to comment on your website ( I only care about content and the user) they seem to care most about the design, the coding practice, which is fair enough.

So, the next IM, is the issue going to be addressed? Either way i don't mind.

yes, IM3 will validate xhtml1.0 and css though the W3C Validator.
You have to remember that most errors regarding 140/141 templates, are the result of html evolution. What was once correct, now is in error. There are so many tpl files in 141 that it is an overwhelming task to attempt to fix them all.

Yes i understand that, and as i said it doesn't bother me, just the people who care about coding ethics i suppose.

Good news on the IM3 being validated. I suppose its a bit silly to be asking when we can expect such a joyful piece of code <img>
