The calander at the bottom of page on forums...

PostAuthor: D3monik » Sun Jan 27, 2008 11:28 pm

yes, i want this sucker gone, it makes my forums look ugly and i would like my shoutbox and whos online now blocks to be able to be expanded as the rest of the forum, you can check out what im talking about here http://www.posclan.net

Also, forgot to ask about it when i posted so here it is. On my portal, there is a huge gap between my header blocks and my center blocks. Is there a way and if there is how do i close this gap up? Once again, go to my site and check out the portal page, its ugly <img>

you may edit your viewforum.tpl i think to remove the calandar.

As for the gap, use a different portal page setting.

how would i go about editing it to remove the calender and expand the shoutbox and whos online now boxes to the full length.

Which portal page setup do you recommend for what i have? Should I use three columns one?

for editing, remove anything that that says calender near the bottom perhaps, I am not sure.

Try various portal pages to get your look you want. I use the quad layout on my portal http://www.paintballer.ie

on this note i was reading a request to remove the calender, but what if i wanted to add a block below my forums? under the calender & shout box? like for my advertisement banners for my affiliate NN genre ccbill links? my IM portal was easy to figure out, now i wish to have them under my forums as well, ( aside the from the styles admin for banner..) but to actually add a block to imput my html codes in

Do a search on that 3dmonk, I know there is a good tread on removing it and I used to do it. If I can find it again I'll put a link here for you.
