A few questions regarding IM 1.4.1

I was looking around and I noticed that even IM 1.4.1 still uses Categories hierarchy v2.0.4.

I am planning on using the Advanced Group Color Management 1.2.5 but it is designed for use with Categories hierarchy 2.1.6.

So my questions are as follows:

1. Do you think the final release of IM 1.4.1 will have the most up to date version of Categories hierarchy?

2. If I were to manually upgrade the current version of Categories hierarchy (Categories hierarchy v2.0.4) to Categories hierarchy 2.1.6, would that affect any of the other mods on IM 1.4.1?

I really don't mind the version of CH that is being used as it seems to work really well. Unfortunately the version of Advanced Group Color Management creator apparently deleted his old site with the prior version of the mod and doesn't support it anymore.

All of this isn't really that big of a deal, I just really want to use a group color mod on 1.4.1. If anyone knows of one that I can use that works with IM as it is now I will use that one instead.

seriously, we looked into the upgrade and found it to be to drastic.
the newer versions of CH almost completely re-write phpBB, meaning that yes, it will break most mods. It is also incompatible with PCP, which is a very valuable asset to IntegraMOD

Yea, unfortunately I see that, I've been doing the research on all the mods in the hacklists and I'm going down each one of them and following links to see if anyone has tried it one by one. I'm going to try to get the update/change/hack on each mod to try to make it compatible.

Looks like I found my new project lol I was going to try this on 1.40 but really I need to try to get it to work on 1.4.1 since that will be the most important version. If I am somehow successful do you guys want me to post the results here?

It might take a while and I'm going to get a couple people to help with it
Sadly the only reason I want it is just to have color groups lol
