I reinstall my site and I've to restore DB manually, some of path definitions wasn't ok, and I correct all, I hope, But there two things that are not working properly.

First:
When I try to login as administrator, the first time I logged in I can acess as admin, the portal stays same way, no users login, Just at second try I was logged in as admin

And Second:

The news forum that is in the portal page do not show the complete news text when I click on the small icon looks like a letter paper at the rigth bottom of each news message ( did you understand what I'm refering to?) The news forum acessed by the forum link works ok, but when I try to acess comlete news that way I mentionated I get notting.

This is just part of security, you have to first login your site with your username and pass (in your case as admin) then when you click the admin link you have to login there as well. If you mean you have to login more than once after you already logged in on the regular site but have to login twice after that (which makes 3) then you might check to make sure you have the correct cookie settings in your ACP

Hmm, it seems to me you found a bug lol

That icon is supposed to take you to that topic's full version, but it isn't.
Those links aren't taking you where they are supposed to. (meaning if you hold your mouse over the icon it would show you that it takes you to http://www.treinodesportivo.net/Portal/?topic_id=796
But it is supposed to take you to http://www.treinodesportivo.net/Portal/portal.php?topic_id=796

I don't know if this is a bug or a problem with that template but it's definately not working correctly.

The only thing I could suggest is make sure you have your script path set up correctly but that is most likely not it...

Related to first problem. I don't mean when I try to access to admin control painel,
The first time I try to login As common user I have to login twice....
Could it be a Brwoser trouble I'm using Mozilla I will try this with other browser and let you Know...

Second problem, I've noticied the path already, but do you have any idea how (where) to correct It, as I have to restore the DB manualy It could happened any mystakes at the values of phpBB_config_table?
But I don't know what or where?

As far as your first problem goes, I've had this issue before as well, at least check the cookie settings in your acp before doing something drastic and throwing away firefox lol

The cookie should be like .yoursite.com /Notice the dot

I have no idea. lol
I looked around in the db and couldn't find anything to do with links ( I really think it has nothing to do with your db)

Did you alter any of your files other than the db?

Definitively this is a cookie subject, but I don't know how to solve it .
I changed the path cookie at ACP, but I' d to change it to old values / (slash only) again, at phpMyAdmin, because I lost the permissions to acess, even as normal user...
Where can I find the cookie file to see what his path is? Do you Know?

By the way the troubles works equal in IE. Lol

the easies way to set your cookies, is to run [url=http]cookie.php[/url]
but if you want to manually set it in your db, youll find the setting in phpbb_config.
Just beware that if you change settings and dont rename your cookie to something different, you may lock everyone with the old cookies, out of your forum

For the news problem go to ACP>News Management>Configuration. Make sure that "News Trim Length" is set to 0.

Ok! Teelk. If I change news trim length to 0, the icon look like a letter desapear, but if the post is too big all text appears.

I made a news post with the maximum amount of characters and the entire thing is displayed in the news block.

If "news trim length" is set to 0, it will show the entire post in the news block. If you don't want this you can change it to whatever you like and that icon will appear again. But, larger posts will be cut off in the news block.

At my forum, I don't know why the Icon doesn't link to the complete post, that's the problem.

wow! that is a damn good idea, that should be added to the default package in 141 or the next one or so... kudos to whoever came up with that

I edit the files they work fine...but after I noticied that in the other forum I 've this matter runs without problem, there is nothing at News Mod Base URL and at News Mod Index File the settings are news_index.php....
Could anyone explain that...
