[SOLVED] Registration error - Post mySQL5

PostAuthor: jackflack » Tue Dec 05, 2006 7:50 am

Error #1

I recently had a forced upgrade and am now running on a shoestring the site with MySQL to 5.0.24-standard and PHP to 4.4.4. I know that both of these are unsupported, but I am hoping someone can help me get by until 1.4.1. is released.

Recently I received some help and that has got me by...

http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2356

But now I just recently noticed that the "register" function is redirecting people to the User control panel and asking them to upload a photo.

If you highlight either register link you get a link to this...

http://www.srguild.org/v2/profile.php?m ... efer&mod=0

As you can see it wants to send you to the profile and not the register function. I had only made changes listed in the above link and I am pretty sure that had nothing to do with changing the way the register function worked.

Can someone tell me how to redefine the register function or maybe what went wrong so I can fix it.

Error #2

When deleting a private msg I get this error.

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /XXXXX/XXXXXX/XXXXXXX/XX/profilcp/profilcp_board_config.php:1) in /XXXXX/XXXXXX/XXXXXXX/XX/includes/functions.php on line 1845

This is not critical error, just annoying.

P.S. one other thing. Today is Dec 5th 2006 and on our website calender it lists my Birthday. However I registered the 6th of December as my birthday. Not sure what went wrong there. If you got any ideas to that one <img>

Hey jackflack,

We do support MySQL4 and php4 officially with a fresh install of IntegraMOD 1.4.0. Unofficially we support MySQL5 as well, since we have the fixes for it. With IntegraMOD 1.4.1 we will be supporting MySQL5 and php5.

The link to your register page is correct, it should look just like that(because of PCP). However, it is sending you to the wrong place. It looks like you may have some corrupted files in the profilcp folder, since the entire profile tab is missing. Is it also missing when you go to your profile as a registered user? I'd try uploading the profilcp folder again, if you haven't changed any of the files in there.

This may also fix error number 2, as it also deals with a profilcp file. If uploading the folder again doesn't resolve this problem, open both includes/functions.php and profilcp/profilcp_board_config.php and make sure there is nothing(not even spaces) before the <php> tags in both files. <php> should be the very last thing.

Thanks, I can try this a little later today.

And I am meant you only unofficially support mySQL 5.

I did make changes to the profilcp/profilcp_board_config.php. In fact I think there were your changes from this link.

http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1180

So is there something wrong with the changes? Because reverting the folder back will undo those changes and thats what is keeping my site up and running at the moment.

I'd just replace the entire folder and then do that edit again. If you get the same problems after editing that file again, then it may be the fault of the text editor you're using or the ftp program with which you're uploading the file.
