Here are some of the issues currently on my site that need to be fixed:

• Error when people try to register. Tried to install the "Log IP on Registration" and since then something has been wrong.

• Numerous issues with the site template. Many of the ACP sections are unusable because of errors.[/strike] [Solved 04/16/06]
  
• Members are having problems staying logged in. [strike]The "remember me" box is missing when you login. [/strike] [Partially Solved 04/16/06]
  
• Errors still appearing in the RSS news feed when I go to feedvalidator.org to validate my feed.

Error when people try to register. Tried to install the "Log IP on Registration" and since then something has been wrong.

When a new member registers on the site they are getting this message:

The box is there but the issue with the cookies remains. I close out my browser while still logged in and when I re-open my browser I still have to login again. Others are having problems where they are getting logged out in the middle of doing any action on the site like posting.

for error #1 did you run this query viw phpmyadmin?

Template->loadfile(): No files found for handle overall_footer

this is a very common error that is due to a slow page load. It can be caused by anything form a server hickup to a lag spike, and unless im mistaken it is nothing to worry about unless it is a regular occurence

Here's the thing...I tried to install the Log Ip on Registration mod and deleted all the changes I did to the files. I ran the SQL query I needed to when installing the mod and now am still having the issue.

i just dl'd the mod. Ill look at it, but my guess is that you still have a file somewhere with these edits
have you deleted the template cache in eXreme Styles/manage cache?

See? I stink at the technical side of things. I can make a forum active though.

This has probably already been mentioned (and so I apologize <img> ), but did you check phpbb Security's "Max Allowed Sessions" feature?

You can find it at ACP/Security/Configuration. It's usually set at 50, and so you may need to bump it up a bit if you have a lot of members.

The registration issue is really starting to become an issue. Alot of new members are not coming back and activating their accounts simply because of the confusion. Any help is appreciated.
