What was done before the problem appeared?
Navigation box items were re-ordered and new graphic added to overall header, edited one block


What was done to try to solve the problem?
cleared cache files, optimised database, checked the setup of the block, deleted said block, recreated it

Ok, this is weird and its got me totally baffled!

I had a block with HTML in it, I removed the html (a table with two graphics in it), checked that the localise titlebar was off and that the block was active. Then cleared the cache files and checked to make sure the said graphics had gone (they hadn't!) So I deleted the block entirely, cleared the cache, optimised the database and checked again... still no change! I cleared all the browsers (firefox and IE7) cache and temp files and tried again... no change!

I've even asked friends to visit the site and see if the graphics are gone (they're still there!!!!)

I'm totally and utterly baffled! Any idea's?

Have you actually looked at the cahce folder to see that it is empty?

I wish I had now never mind, I'm still learning after over a year and a half!!! ROFL

May want to check that the cache folder is CHMOD'd to 777, 'cause it should have deleted properly from the ACP.
