Bots flodding Session Table

Hi. I have a problem.
In the last days Inkomi is flooding my session table. I got a mail from my hoster that the server sucks because of that. I have still limited the Sessions of one guest IP to 8 but I have hundrets of different IPs in the sessions table.
In the ACP I got about 100 entries of Inktomi bot IPs. Do I have to add them that this flooding stops or will it make this the thing even worse?
Hope for fast help because my provider wants to close the site when I can't solve the problem.
