ok so i hope this is the right area to post.

Objective: install itemstats plugin & if successful may be couple more

Problem: i never done it before & do not want to screw up something.

Details: so i got a friend build the site for me, its just forums & a separate page for dkp. i need to install item stats to be able to mouse over items (drops /loot) on the front page. my friend tried to do it but he had some difficulties in brief he said itemstats is not compatible with integramod.

i like integramod but i need that itemstats badly it will make a big change on my site & will help my guild. i don't know anything about editing or moding or html or flash etc. i know how to use ftp like to move or install files and that is about it.

i saw few sites including Whisky's own guild page i beleive and itemstats is working fien i think. i think he has mouse overs disabled but i want to have mouse overs.

my goal is after i got itemstats working "hopefully" i can add couple of extra things.

i need your help please to tell me what to do. here are some links i hope it will help.

the extra things i wanted to add later on was top dkp holders & last items dropped & top spenders. there is also eqdkp WoW-Mod that would be nice to have,

so do i just download these plugins ..install them and see what happens i'm just worried i would lose some data. is it compatible?

right now we gonna try to add blocks showing top 10 dkps standings with class colors and latest 5 items dropped like on this site http://www.entity-guild.com/

is there plugins needed to do that or how is it done?

k i got a problem now, everytime someone tries to post a new topic or edit we get this error

i was trying to edit my news post to add [item][/item] to the rest of the posts but i started getting that error

my forums are 1.4.0 version we are in the proces of upgrading to 1.4.1 hoping that would fix the error.

do u know if that would fix it or whats going on that is causing it?

p.s. do i need to edit this topics title to not solved or in progress since there is another problem now or do i need to make a new post?

For your dkp bloc I can do it but give me the item table structure of your DKP system, or simply tell me what dkp system your are using, if its eqdkp I know what the table struct is

For your fatal error, I've specified that this hack was for an IM1.4.1 board.

This would obviously drive you into this this kind of issues if you install it on a IM1.4.0 coz I adpated the file include/bbbcode.php from a standard 1.41 and its completly different then 1.40. so this error actually occurs because the board try to find this function dss_rand thats is no longuer used in 1.41 or located elsewhere

I f you choose to upgrade your IM board (best solution) I guess your problem will be automatically solved
