MySQL Version:

What was done before the problem appeared?
Nothing, I just recently installed IntegraMod 140.

What was done to try to solve the problem?
Nothing yet because I dont know what to do.

De.scription and Message

I just recently installed the IntegraMod 140. This phpbb verison is great however I found something wrong. I was testing out making posts in the forums and for some reason, whenever I make a post and click the "submit" button, it takes me to a blank page. The URL in the browser says "..../posting.php". Just wondering if there is a way to fix it so that I dont always get sent to a blank page.

Thank you,

- Curt

Before we go further, it is always best to use the last version. The same if you use phpBB or other premodded boards. The last versions always have the last fixes <img> . The last version of IM.com is version 1.4.1.

Try that version, and if you than have the same error, we can go a step further.

Other wise, if you realy want to use version 1.4.0, make another reply.

obiku is correct, especially if this is a new forum, because a clean install is much better than an upgrade later.
As for your prob, there are a few possibilities.

if you installed(uploaded) your forum files with the "root" ftp account, your user account may not have proper permissions. You can check the file ownership in your ftp client. Hopefully all files are owned by your user account.

Your cookies and or root path may be at fault. Usually the correct path and cookie info is setup at install, however, if you move your forum to another directory, you need to update your db. This is prob not your prob since it is a new install, but i thought id throw it out there

another posibility is that required functions may be disabled in your php.ini. I noticed that you appear to be using free hosting and it is common for them to turn off many functions for security. If you have an error log in your web host control panel, you may find record of theses errors there.
