New password activation Not authorised?

Hi everyone,

i got locked out from forum and reactiveated myself but now seem as though i have forgotten my password i did the re authorise link and its comes up with a NOT AUTHORISED on the screen

Anyone know whats going on and how i can fix it...

Any help would be appricated as im new here and to my forum

am i better off deleting and starting fresh with a new install?

dude, only so many people can work on one problem.. I am sure when someone knows thay will tell you.. just relax.. I am sure thay have not for got about you ....yet.

did you request your password from the forum? If so it probably went to your junk mail folder.
If you know your correct password and you still get this error, try editing your db with phpmyadmin
empty your sessions table DO NOT DELETE IT <img>
go to phpbb_users and edit your user account. change login attempts to 0
Delete your browser cache and cookies for the site, and try to login again

yes i sent it from the forum and recieved it in my mailbox when i click the link it comes up with NOT AUTHORISED

i dropped the database and reintsalled a new DB and then uploaded my backup works fine nothing missing <img>
