Why KisMod?

PostAuthor: tekguru » Fri Mar 31, 2006 7:09 am

So, why IntegraMod2 guys?

Can we have a bit more detail that was posted in the announcements as to why this new site was created, who is developing which platforms?

Will there be an easy upgrade path from the 1.40 version if a new version is developed?

Etc <img>

this site was an attempt to keep the IM community active. As you know there are several bugs on IM.com. Several of theses made it impossible to moderate forums and properly support Integramod. Since there are many mods in IM.com that are not stock, none of us knew just where to fix them without undoing Wekke's modifications. Since Weeke had not been seen onsite for months and had not replied to numerous emails and pm's, all the active staff decided the best this was to move the site, before all the members left. New membership was at an all time low and activity on the site was dwindleing because I believe users saw our site problems and assumed these were representative of IM140.

It sure got quiet very quickly. Never helps to test mods on a live site especially not the support site...but I guess we all live and learn.

If everyone stopped using IM tomorrow I think I would still keep it...I have yet to find anything as versatile and customisable.
