Knowledge Base chars problems

when i send an article in Knowledge Base i see it in gibberish

note: my forum default language is not english

Have you updated to phpBB 2.020? this appears to be causing quite a few code based issues.

i have the 2.0.17 clean install of integramod

What id your default language? where did you get the lang pack? I apologise I do not know if part or all is gibberish, I see it reads right to left, is theat meant to be?

the default language is hebrew, it came with the original pack of integramod. the most importent parts like subject and the article shown in gibberish,
and yes the direction of hebrew it's right to left

As an added note, he did add the Advanced BBCode Box, and I've been trying to see if my code is somehow causing the error. So far I haven't found anything. <img>

One other comment that was posted on my forums that doesn't make sense to me.

one last thing, maybe it will help but when i'm doing a preview of the article every thing looks ok. when i chose to send the article it become gibresh

something tells me this may be the knowledgebase that is at fault. There are several knon issues with this mod. 1, HTML can be previewed but it is not saved correctly. It used to work I beleive, but somewhere along the way, (probably a phpbb update) it has lost this ability, and even more has been lost with 2.020. 2, The mod has severe problems wirh the chinese Big5 Charater set and thus may also have some bearing here. A suggestion has been made to upgrade to the new KB mod, but it has been suggested that that too is problematic and does not solve the html issue.

Two possible reasons:

There was a similar problem I had with the 2.0.20 version of phpbb, in the messages, and at that time, too, the preview was fine while the post itself had mistakes.

Another explaination could be the way KB treats the html coding. Is this problem only happening in the KB or only in normal messages?

For example, if you write in Japanese in the post (???), it will be written properly. If you write the same text in the title of the message, then you will get the following (without the space):

This is due to the fact that html coding is NOT allowed in the title of a message. Perhaps is it the same in the KB?
