HI

Not sure what link you are looking for. My forum with the installation of Integramod is on www.shamrocs.com .

I signed up to Siteground who installed the integraMOD for me approx 2 months ago.

Does that help? I hope you can help, my members give me hell.

a) So you're wanting to make the shoutbox itself stop refreshing on it's own? If so I have never thought about it, but I'll look and see what I come up with

b) Can you show a screenshot or copy and paste the entire error

c) I have noticed this as well on all Integramod installations, including this one. I don't know why it does that

d) Once again I have never used it, I'll look into it

P.S.: I asked for the link to the IntegraMOD installation because yesterday when I clicked the link it went to something else.

This works for me. View posts since last visit, read the ones I want to, ignore the topics I don't care about. If I click the view posts since last visit again, the topics I've read are no longer there. I just go to the main forum page, mark all forums read, and I'm done. After marking forums read, the view posts since last visit link finds no results.

On my site, I placed a 'Mark forums read' link on the search results page to expediate the process of getting rid of the topics I don't want to read...

I think he means if you come back to a site after a day or so, and click "View posts since last visit (3)" it still lists those 3 posts (which are the first 3) then a lot more posts as well.

Clicking 'Mark forums read' causes the 'View posts since last visit' to clear...

Yes... it does...

I think he is wanting them to clear automatically after he views them, without having to click "Mark Forums Read"

This way, not all of the topics disapear. (Example: If he only has time to view a few at the moment, and doesn't want to have to remember which ones he viewed before. But like you, I think they clear themselves but that may only be if you reply)

As far as I can tell, this works perfectly. When I just logged back in, there were 3 topics with new posts. When I read one, I clicked on View topics since last visit again and it only showed the two that I hadn't read yet.

I clicked on one of the remaining two topics and then hit the back button. It showed both topics still but a refresh took it down to one. It's unreasonable to expect the back button to automatically research for new topics

My conclusion: reclicking 'View posts since last visit' only shows topics I haven't viewed, using the back button and refreshing the page only shows topics I haven't viewed, if I don't want to read some of the topics just mark forums read and they are all cleared from the list.

This is correct the mod keep unread flags lets the post you have not read stay in the system until you click on

Code: Select all
Mark forums read

this allows you to go back at any time and read posts that you might not have had time to read before...

This is the error I get when trying to creat a forum category.

Couldn't update forums/categories table

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'icon' in 'field list'

INSERT INTO phpbb_categories (cat_id, cat_main_type, cat_main, cat_order, cat_title, cat_desc, icon) VALUES(1, 'f', 3, 15, 'l', ',l,', '')

I'm getting this error too, It has something to do with injecting new data fields in the Data base.

MySQL trouble fix: unknown column in à¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€¹Ã…“field list

Just a note that when youre trying to insert data into a table and you get the error

Unknown column à¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€¹Ã…“the first bit of data what you want to put into the tableà¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€¹Ã…“ in à¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€¹Ã…“field list

using something like

INSERT INTO table (this, that) VALUES ($this, $that)

its because youve not got any apostrophes around the values youre trying to stick into the table. So you should change your code to:

INSERT INTO table (this, that) VALUES ($this, à¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€¹Ã…“$that)

I found that in google, I haven't tried it yet tho.

On searching "admin_forums_extend.php" from line 1202 back, I can not find any where Icon is missing the apostrophes?

Hi

This is more to do with your database the value is missing from there not the file....

Is this a fresh install?....if so your database seems corrupted or some data has been input wrong....

If it is a fresh install I would suggest having another go..... if it is not and you have added mods to it I would then check what you have done or at least show here what mods you have added....

Also could please upload your admin_forums_extend.php file and link to it here so I can have a look please...

Thanks
