So, the way looks on the forums. I am wondering how to make another section within' the template of that and also having the nav bar beside it.

This is hard for me to explain it clearly. But I'll try my best.

Like..

New section, let's say. http://www.killyourboredom.com/newsection and same looks as my site on the forums EXCEPT take the forums out and make it on my own. Because I am wanting to make a links page where people can buy links from me and also where people can exchange the links on it.

Anyway, I am wanting to make new section. So how can I do that? Just copy the template folder and paste it into new file. That's it? Or what.

I think your looking just to create a new page.

If you look at my site, http://www.aaquacks.com/forum you'll see I have added about 7-8 new pages.
Some are in navigation bar and some are in another block called Useful Tools.

The way I did it:

ACP>IM Portal>Page Management

Click on Add Portal Page
Enter a page name
Select Template File (forum style with only header and footer is layout1.tpl)
Forum-wide blocks - Yes
Click Submit

Now clcik on ACP>IM Portal>Blocks Management
You will see your new created page here. If you open it, you will see the headers and footers from your forum page. They follow from page to page.
Now you can edit this page the same as your forum page and your home page.

To view the page, http://www.killyourboredom.com/portal.php?page=#
where # is the page ID #. You can find the page ID # at ACP>IM Portal>Page Management

Hope that helps.

To add more pages, repeat everything again to add another page. And so on, and so on.

To add it to the navigation bar or a new navigation block or in the top bar, open ACP>General Admin>Qbar
Here you can edit a existing bar, or create a new bar. I just open 2 explorer pages on my site and made them half screen size so I could see both. I then used one to see how one looked as I created the other.

Yes it's possible, I think I get what you are after, you're wanting to make a whole seperate "page" like index.php right?

I'm in the process of making one myself, go to the site: http://www.dark-frost.com/phpBB3/skins.php

You will notice it looks like the rest, with just "coming soon" in the middle

Is that what you were after?

If so let me know and I'll tell you how to do it manually

(Before I waste my time typing it all out for no reason <img>)
