For the phpbb security could someone tell me what file the exploit attempts are written to and what chod it should be?

Hi CaNNon,

Do you mean Cracker Tracker? I don't believe phpBB Security writes to log files. If it is CT, the following files should be CHMOD'd accordingly.

No my CT is fine Teelk, I just noticed that "phpbb security" has a log, but my forum shows like 12 tries blocked but when I click "exploit attempts" it just shows this.

" 1 0.0.0.xxx 01 Jan 1970 12:00 am 1 Unknown"

So I think i don't have the permissions set right for the file?

You may be in part right Teelk. Maybe it's using the database and not a logging file?

I believe you're correct.

If anyone else has this issue, the fix is to reinstall the php security mod.

Upload the installer and set the config names after you've set the 3 names you need to do the edit to set those values.

The rest will be done. clear all cashe's then reset the amounts for admin and mod in the security acp.
