[Solved] Site Transfer Issue

My old host shut us down, so I am trying to get going on a new host.

For starters, my old site was bindepot.ca, and my new site is bindepot.net.
The .ca site when I am able to, will eventually redirect to the .net site once my old host gets off it's ass.

I am trying to create the .net site with the database from the .ca site.
I installed integramod perfectly.
I had my new host import my .ca database for me because it was too large.

My issue is, that the new .net site wants to revert back to the .ca site.

Want changes do I need to make to keep the site on the .net domain?

Note: I can't access the ACP because it wants to revert to the .ca

Finally figured out where in the database to edit and it's all good now.

Back to reconstructing everything.

For all who also want to know how it's been done....

Edit the config table thru phpMyAdmin, you have to edit the key server_name and fill in you new domain. If that is done, you are able to get in your board again.

Just remember, this is the first step. You have to change your cookie setting, and some other things. But when I'm correct, you can do that in your ACP

My cookie settings were all set at default settings, so no changes were needed.

Having a new issue.

I am changing the domain name of a site I have setup.

I have added the domain in cPanel.
I renamed the old file folders to the new domain files folders.
I edited the phpbb_config server_name to match my new domain.

Now when I try to go to the new url, it still wants to go to the old site.

Old site: http://www.fulltiltpokertourneys.com
New site: http://www.acehighflush.com

looks like your site has propagated because I have access to acehigh.

A word of caution though. Check your local laws regarding online gambling. Here in Washington and most states as far as I know, it is illegal to host or play online poker for real money.

Weird - still doing it here.

I go to http://www.acehighflush.com, and it redirects to fulltiltpokertourneys.com

Is there anything else I have to change in the config other than server_name?

I am using this as the index.html to redirect to the portal page from acehighflush.com

Never mind.

Deleted domain name and all the files and started over, and seems to be ok now.
