Private Messages being lost

Hello,

a couple of my board members complain about private messages being lost!

I mean I haven ´t lost any PMs yet but they claim that sometimes a PM doesn ´t arrive.

They say that it is in their Outbox but not in their Sent Box and then suddenly the PM vanishes from the Outbox and is not in the sentbox!

What can cause that problem?

check your board settings to see how many pms they are allowed and see if they have exceeded this amount

1000 PMs are allowed in each folder!
Noone of the guys from who I know that PMs were lost, had anything close to 1000 PMs in its PM Folders!

So the reason has got to be something else...what can it be?

possibly pm permissions on your board changed and the missing pms included flash, images etc.. that are now not allowed. Other than that I have not got a clue as yours is the first case of this ive heard of.

Thanks for the idea...I haven ´t change a thing about flash and so on!

The problem is for example that you write a PM then you see it in the outbox...but before it gets to the sentbox it just disappears!
