Site looks nice. I have to admit I never heard of the author, and am not sure if he sounds like someone I'd be interested in. Nonetheless, I like the way that you handle navigation for the site, and the template you have chosen (designed?) for the site.

Jason,

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

I designed the templates Nightmare Factory and Nethescurial myself, at least graphically. The other three are variants of FI Subice, subBlack and Chronicles.

The menu system is AllWebMenus Pro. I created a separate menu scheme to match each style graphically. I am quite pleased with the result. I also plan to create separate menu sets for visitors, members and administrators.

In the clock block for your template find #FFFFFF or #ffffff (clock background) and change it to #405C72, this will look better.

Damn clocks <img>

Lovely looking site and the menu system helps make the place become unique. I too had never heard of the author but will be sure to do so once I am finished reading the Hesse books I have.

i think your site is great, i love the layout and the themes you have made.

i am most interested in learning how i can do my menu like yours, with drop down menus. i have been searching for some time, and have had a few computer problems so had put off asking if anyone could help me with this, but now seems as good a time as any to ask how i can accomplish this for my site.

I love the look of that...and yep agreeing with you Thomas Ligotti is the modern day EAP, I think I agree with the Washington Post when they called him ""the best kept secret in contemporary horror fiction."

It's not so much what he writes, it's more what he doesn't write that makes his stories sooo chilling. If you like gory horror you probably won't like Ligotti, but if you like pysch horror then he is a must read IMO

My favorite of his is Alice's last adventure a kinda twist on the lewis carroll but that is really cleve the way he twists reality inside out.
