I had posted this on the old IM site and figured I would also post it here.

I noticed the the version of rebuild search we were using, Version 1.0 from Sept 3rd 2003. Had been extensively upgraded to version 2.2.1a on Sept 3rd 2005. The upgrade is a completely new search that gives way more info and also runs much faster. Here is a screen shot:

The upgrade is really simple. Just follow the instructions for installing.
Upgrading or installing from scratch requires exactly the same steps.

Installation was truly a breeze and the functionality is far superior. Great update! This one should be updated a future version of IM.

Perhaps I should post this tangent separately, but is there a method by which you can rebuild the Knowledge Base search index? When I ported to a new server host recently, the KB search index within the database was HUGE. In fact, I left it out of the transfer and my database size was reduced to less than HALF (from 105MB to 45MB). Mind you, I utilized KB in a somewhat unconventional manner, as my site is literature based and KB is utilized as a repository for online literature - both site provided and member contributed. There are now 60 "articles", a few which are over 10,000 words in length. I assume my KB search function is now only working for new articles since the migration.
