Im trying to get the Ti2000 theme working on my site and im having the same issue other users have had. When viewing either the portal or forum itself, the theme looks fine, yet when you view a topic the site increases it's width and you get a horizonal scrollbar. I've tried to correct this with the following solutions from http://www.forumimages.co.uk but neither have solved my problem.

This error occurs in either the firefox or IE browsers so i know it's not just firefox, if anyone has an idea of how to fix this please let me know. Also, if you need screenshots as an example of what it's doing please let me know and i can provide you with these as well.

applied the fix listed above and still no go. When viewing a topic it looks fine until the actual message is loaded, then it flips out on me, perhaps it's still something that helter had pointed out on fi.com about it being static images? Also when viewing a post, for some reason i have scrollbars inside the post itself even though the message is very short. let me try to get some screenshots up here in a min to better describe whats going on.

This shows the portal, while it has a little bit of stretching, it is tolerable. The othnly things i have modded myself on this template is recoloring (everything blue used to be yellow) and the banner. nothing else is modified aside from the code to fix this issue.

This shows how the forum looks when looking for a topc to read, everything here is fine.

This is what it looks like when either replying to a post or creating a post. This is where you first get the horizontal scrollbar and also im not quite sure why the images are there above the posting window, the "double bar."

Last but not least, the Topic View itself. Note the scroll bar, regardless of the post only containing "test" and the broken or unaligned image in the top right of the topic window. I think since the topic view looks fine until the msg loads, the problem may be the image below the word "test" on the actual post, but im not sure since i think it's an auto-size image.

PS. resolution on viewing is 1024x768 and this happens in both IE and firefox.

Awesome! that solution you found Helter fixed it, i still have very minor stretching in the window that contains the header but that doesnt matter to me at all, everything looks fine now.

quick question though, before i hand this over to the admin who will be adding this to our actual website themes, do i need to send him the updated no_thread_scroll.js as well or is this a fix all in itself for the Ti2000 theme?

The tables for this template were written for me by a brilliant high school kid, who has trouble finishing what he starts and at the time i did not know the difference between <td> and <tr> lol.

this fix seems to work fine on the demo site with the default .js
