Since I can't access the old site I can't get hold of the main contributor to the swedish language project. He is the one managing the translation. I'm just helping out.

If he don't turn over from the dark side I have to finalize the translation here. I need to know how to to that? Is there anyting I need to know/do, or is it just to upload all the files zipped somewhere?

Hi Okki,

I worked on an updated version of the French pack, which used to contain thousands of mistakes. I will update the files for the latest version of phpBB, can you tell me where to post it when finished?

Thanks,

sanji (Jon)

Sorry, i don't think we can use the phpbb files, as IntegraMOD has a lot more files.
And we have french files for integramod 140.

Or do i misunderstand your offer?

Sorry Okki,

I shouldn't post before the breakfast <img>

The translation is of course for Integramod 1.4.0 / phpbb 2.0.19, and I am now updating it for 2.0.20.

I know you have a French pack, I started from it. However, it contains a huge number of mistakes, and most of the admin files are not translated. Whisky also underlined the problem here : http://integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... ght=french

I made my improved pack available on the previous IM forum, and you can still find the discussion in the archive here on IM2, but unfortunately, the download is not available anymore.

Is there a place to upload it here?

sanji

Thank you for the zip.

I did take a quick look at the files, but there was some missing i believe.

But i can not check all, as i am not able to read french.

Maybe you can contact "ilia" i believe he did help with the fernch translation as the files are now.

Or is there someone else who can take the lead in the french translation?

And i seen your comment that the spellcheck is not working, not even the english.
Well i can tell you it's working. The spellcheck however can not be used for more than 1 language at the same time , but for one it is fine.
I use it for dutch on http://www.integramod.nl

Your welcome, Okki.

Normally, the pack is pretty complete. Except if I forgot to add some files in the pack, which I will check. As I wrote it, some files were left partially in English, but it is just a couple of them related to "exotic" functions in the ACP. Users are unlikely to use them on a daily basis...

For the spellcheck, you are right, it might be a problem when two languages are used at the same time. I tried to do so on my site, but it wasn't possible...

I tried to get people interested in a French translation team in the previous forum, but no one was really willing to work a lot on it. I waited over 6 months, finally made the work by myself and offered the updated pack, which was tested and used by several persons.

As I said, it might not be perfect, but at least most of the spelling and grammatical mistakes are gone. Some part of the translation contained up to 3 mistakes... per line, which really was not serious on a live site...
