I want to add this [url=http]countdown[/url] in a centerblock on my portal, but i cant seem to get it to look right...
I know the Insert flash file button, but it doesnt work it just show me this code on the portal
[flash width=800 height=400]http://www.mysite.com/countdown/gwfcountdown_slim.swf[/flash:16kmedh8]
Also i dont like to define the width and height in px, i would like to just fix the screen of the user... If a user runs 800x600 i want the site to fix his screen in the width, so he can see my left and right blocks.
I want the flash file to fit in the space in between my left and right blocks.
And it cant do that if i define the flash files width and hight can it ?
But how do i do that ?

Ok i got it to work now....
But the block is 2 high, is there a place to tell 1 block how high it should be...
Right now it looks like [url=http]this[/url]
I would like to make the block with the countdown so it fits the flash file in the height and also to remove the frame around it...
How do i do that ?

hmm im not sure what i did but now its working <img>
Or at least i can see the file...
It still would be nice to make the file auto fix, so if a user ran 1024x768 it would fit the hole center space and if a user ran something else it would also fit the hole center space, but i cant make it do that :S

Now my code looks like this
[align=center][flash width=600 height=124:22xkkk62]http://www.mysite.com/countdown/gwfcountdown_slim.swf[/flash:22xkkk62][/align:22xkkk62]
And it is working.
But when i run 1280x960 the flash file is not filling the hole space in the center Block Position.
What i want to do is to have the width in % instead of px, but how do i do that ?

				well i used : 1152 X 864
1024 X 768
800 X 600
and it's always centred ! so where is the problem ?
By the way u can use the banners controle in ACP >>> theme administration >>> banners !
u can set what u want then choose the portal place !

yeah it is centred now, but thats becouse i made it so small that it fits 800x600, if i made it to fit 1024x768 it will look wrong in 800x600, it will be to big.
Maybe i should try the banner ting <img>

well isn't it logic that wich is designed for 1024 * 768 will not fit in 800 * 600 u can't make it smaller !
and even with banner it will be the same thing !

For a BLOCK, you can always use HTML instead of BBCODE <img>
Then, almost everything is possible...
I have done so on my site, and I even added some javascripts to display weekday, day, and month + holidays...
It even displays Good morning, noon, afternoon, evening of night...according to time...
