left block..please help

hey all

why can't i put a block on the left side of my im portal? is it supposed to be like that?
is their anyway i can put at least the navigation block on the left side?
i can add 2 rows of blocks on the right side but no matter what combo of footer/center/right etc i try i cannot get them to the left side. and "to me" sites without that left side are horrible! please someone help me with this. pretty please with sugar ontop?

You have Board navigation working on the right try putting it in the header (witch is the left). You may also need to clear the im portal cashe after you make changes.
