IM portal for phpBB3 ?

I really liked that you could easily add an block and just add the text in the block in the ACP
the Stagtage portal seems alot more difficult, been testing it for 5-7Hr today and i dont get a thing about that one.
Do i need to upload html files with the content in etc? thats just crazy. a portal should make it easy not this hard as stargate portal.
So an IM portal for BB3 is what i would like to have...
