Right not making any claims at knowing what I am doing but do have some modicum of common sense.

Zip file attached is definately beta and as such install at your own risk.

Usual common sense rules apply ***backup before trying anything***

I best add that some code changes were not to be found in any shape or form and as such were omitted as i could only see that integramod had already changed the code to suit.

Had a look through the db update file and nothing jumped out as glaringly bad or wrong so left it as is.

It was the main code I took time on looking for instances of it that had been placed elsewhere in IM. Hope it works as predicted.

I have however noticed a large increase in page load time but this could be down to my server.

i have just done the update on the 140 template demo site. No errors, but you are correct that the page refrash time has jumped considerably. I will have to watch the phpBB forum to see if this is a common complaint, or if there is an error somewhere that I do not see

NO do not make these changes....not to a live site.

If you have a test site then by all emans try them and see if you can find errors. I just wanted to post what I had done so others might find fault and/or improve upon them.

One side effect i am noticing is my test site has reduced to a crawl yet i do not know why.

Hopefully this pack will also be released here too.

Additional note: I shall not be upgrading my site at present. There are too many bugs in the phpBB upgrade and some are not being fixed until the next upgrade. To me this makes no sense as surely you should release bug free upgrades when bugs are known <img>
