Has anyone ever seen a sweepstakes mod?

I have seen them on vBulletin sites.

Allows for raffles and draws for prizes.

I have googled and looked around but not able to find any. Might be looking in the wrong spot.

Wonder if it could work with integra. Probably require some editing.

unless it is a mod that is only hosted from the authors site, you would find it at http://www.phpbbhacks.com
VBulletin is way too different to use one of its mods unless you are a php programmer, and even then you would have to rewrite it to phpbb. What is the function you are looking for? random user selection?

We have raffles on our site and I create paypal cart button to purchase tickets.
The only thing is it doesn't provide user id of the purchaser.

Would like to set it up on the site so that when tickets are purchased, I automatically get user id somehow.

I know the above mod doesn't contain paying. Only give away sweepstakes.

I wonder if you could use the Lottery mod and edit the living hell right out of it to make it work the way you want. No doubt in my mind that it would be a pain in the A## to do, but you would stand a lot better chance modifying it to work then a Vbulletin mod as Helterskelter has pointed out. Their mods are WAY different as well as IVPB.

I gave up on it.

I still run draws, raffles, etc, but I create paypal buttons with my own Buy Tickets image.
I can create my own button for each raffle/draw.

Only downfall, is that all I get is a email address of who paid, and not their forum name.
I have to email them back to request their forum name, and I have also used cPanel to search the user_email from the database to locate the persons id.

Extreme pain, and that's why I was hoping for an easy to add mod.
