CrackerTracker

PostAuthor: Demonicpagan » Sun Oct 08, 2006 7:55 am

Was looking through the CrackerTracker and when I got to the Security Checker, it displays ". $version ." where it tells me what my version is supposed to be. Was looking through the code and I can't tell where it's pulling this from.

Using phpmyadmin, check your version info in the database > config... and check your php version.... Some code used in admin looks for specific version numbers for php...

For some reason the db column's value is literally ". $version .". I'll take a look and see why a db value like that would even be needed... couldn't you just insert the string into the php...

The version with RC5 is 4.1.7, the newest version is 5.0.2. I've tested the 5.0.2 and it's not ready to be added to the package. It's in fairly early stages I think, being totally rewritten from scratch.

I'll follow the MOD and an update sometime in the future should be possible. As it stands right now I've installed it successfully on a 141 board, but there are some bugs to be worked out on the MOD author's end. But, the new features do look really nice.
