Possible hacking/pishing?

I notice in my error log error that some one is trying to the file:
phpBB2/templates/subSilver/templates/subSilver/images/spacer.gif
but i do no have a my forum in a phpb22 folder. Is this a hacker looking to see if i have phpbb installed or somthing like that?

If it is, they aren't too bright... why the doubled 'templates/subSilver?'
Wonder if it could be a template issue where the url to that image isn't being created correctly? You could view page info with Firefox and check out what images are being called in the html... checking on each page you view...

no, I dont think your getting hacked. You probably installed a mod that has that image reference in it.

I agree most attacks have a tool or .script file on the end of the url.

ok cheers. Any way to source which file is trying to access it or just leave it be.
