Hi sorry for the noob question, But many gamer sites have stuff like Items Database, armor database, skill database, and so on, is there a software they use to make these databases and have them published to an html file or even php file so they can easily manager there databases and so on, if so what software could be used, and is there any open source softwares they use. thanks in advanced....

One of the best I have found is free, but not open source. It is DBDesigner4 (see http://www.fabforce.net/).
