Never mind, forget it it's too long to tell in details. Thx anyway. i wouldn't have problem like this if someone finnally tells me why my groups (setting up for trial time) doesn't work on my site!

I think what you are asking Febern is not possible. If you lock a user and he visits the site, he is a guest. Do you not want guests to register? Unless you ban the IP (which someone could get round) you cannot block a user from the site.

One question, why? Why do you want him only to see your site as a guest?

Normally you lock someone out of a forum, because he is irritating, annoying someone or they have no reason to get in that forum. The last one you can do by setting permissions, the first one by making groups for every forum. But that brings up allot of work for you and your MODs, they have to grant permission to everyone who can visit a forum. They have to join the group for that forum.
You and your MODS must permit someone to that group.

Back to the second line of my post, if someone is annoying or irritating you BAN him, otherwise you let him go

I dont want to ban them because then he can't visit the site as guest........

If you want to Lock users, than you can alos ban them?? If you ban a user, he can't get acces at you whole site, except if he changes his IP.

I would like to do that locked users by admin, wouldn't see register line in menu, because i wouldnt like that these ppl can able to register themselves again on my site...

can u help me please?
