This seems to be working. But isn't it way to limit the access to a specific group only by the checking whether the user who want to access that group is moderator or not?

I would like to create a forum only for moderators.

As admin, I can seen this forum, but unfortunately moderators can not. Normal users neither, but this is normal...

I set the forum for "MOD" only. What about a member who would be a moderator only for one of the forums? Should he get access to this mod only forum? Because so far, he can't...
