The fix is not perfect but works. Some where along the line the switch_user_logged_in array is not set for viewtopics. I don't remember if it was ever coded but will look into it as soon as I get back from Spain.

Anyway you will have to remove &lt;!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in --&gt; and &lt;!-- END switch_user_logged_in --&gt; from user_block_block.tpl for now.

Later, Mike

Thanks for that

Sorry for the confusion, you have everything correct dont change anything. I will find the error and post a solution.

To recap:
You have enabled system wide portal in ACP-&gt;IM Portal-&gt;Enable system-wide portal footer.
You have set-up all your footer blocks (the blocks that appear on the right site of the page).

The only thing you change was the name of the block to Welcome? You did this in the ACP-&gt;IM Portal-&gt;Blocks Management-&gt;IntegraMOD Default-&gt;
Here you just change the name of the block?

I have done exactly the same but I can see the data without a hitch. Checking some moreà¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ ¦
Update... No data is passed for this block in viewtopics...

Yes thats right that was the only chnage I did block name change in block management

ah, to bad

then it only can mean one thing, viewtopic is not loading the variables needed for the block (i think)

is the block working in this possition with fisubice?

then you can compare the viewtopic.php and the viewtopic.tpl files

I seem to think this suggestion is right, no the block does not load in fisubice either, so far the block does not work when viewing a post, or replying.

On some of the style the right block width was set to 160 or 150 i.e. they did not use {block_width}. The confusion stems from a mix-up (two years ago) relating to right blocks and footer blocks and was compounded it you set system wide footer in ACP.

The original intent was:
Header Blocks (left site of page)
Footer Blocks (right side of page)
Centre Blocks (centre of page)

Over time several people used:
Header Blocks (left site of page)
Right Blocks (right side of page)
Centre Blocks (centre of page)

If you turn off system wide footer in ACP à¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“> IM Portal you can use right blocks as right side of page but you need to add {block_width} and basically forget about footer blocks. In fact quite a few people did this including myself.

Will add the theme to my test site and check it out.

Mike

PS the theme looks realy nice, Nice 1 H <img>

So if I understand you correctly you are saying that I cant use footer blocks so I will get no right hand col in any page apart from the portal, this is not really an option as I need the columns on all pages of my site, I would rather try and find a fix than just not have something that it is designed for and not use it.

I can modify the code to include the required info but I can't figure out why it was removed. I guess it is related to reasons mentioned above and over time things have changed...
Mike

Update: I have changes from using right blocks to using footer blocks (should have done this years ago :?: <img>

username = test
password = testing

I have used the block twice to test once on left and once on right, when you view a post the left one shows ok and the right one is missing.

I dont think it is a theme error as it also happens with the theme that is included in the intergamod 1.40 download
