I'm finding this process very frustrating. It seems like you have to be an insider to use this stuff. While I am grateful to the developers and understand this is a work in progress, it wasn't until I trolled the boards after breaking my system that I found someone mentioning "you need to load the current version of IM, then upgrade phpbb from .17 to .19 then upgrade security from 0.2 to 0.3 then upgrade phpbb from .19 to .20...." WOuldn't a simple "readme.1st" file in the current download save poor newbies a lot of pain? Yes, back up everything, but geez, a tiny guide for those of us who aren't hanging around on this board daily would be nice.

I still don't quite have my security updated as the update calls for me to find parts of 2 files that don't exist (the parts to change, not the files) so...on to one more post...

Again, thanks for making this possible. I'll stick with you a bit longer and see if I can get it to work, but as a newbie to PHP, I wish there was a tiny bit more direction with the files we have to tweak so much to get working.

what does this mean?

Also...when uploading the one file for 2.0.20 that goes into the folder db I notice that it is named "mssql.php" ..... is this supposed to be "MYSQL.php"? as there is no file named mssql.php which it replaces...??
