Hi,

There have been many updates since you left . I joined the team around a year ago. Helter, MWE and I have worked on many improvements:
- mysqli support
- cache
- recent PHP fixes (references, deprecated functions, etc)
- fixed some leftover bugs

Since 2008! WOW. I still have 2 Integramod/stargate Sites Online after all these years. I am curious if there are any updates to this program coming out?

According to Bluehost I should have stopped using this program long ago.

Any advice would be appreciated. Helter and MWE both still have admin access to my sites but I am not sure when the last time I saw either of them.

Hello guys. I am guessing another php problem is upon us as php is upgraded.

I believe the php got upgraded on the server and now the center blocks on my buddys site is all gone. http://littleelmforums.com.

Thanks for chiming in on this one. We are both thinking on the same page it seems.

Both of the mods are major to say the least. And I agree on not reinventing the wheel.

I tried but keep running into a solid wall... haven't given up and have even played around with writing new versions but both mods are so big you would need a separate site and several staff to get anywhere... Couple this with that fact that phpBB 3.1 has code to support downloads and one nice gallery mod in development... you have to ask if all the effort is worth while... why reinvent the wheel....

It would probably makes more sense to work on some type of import script closer to the phpBB 3.1 release...

I seriously doubt anyone is going to rewrite either of those 2 scripts. I believe Helter and Mike are trying to work what couple kinds out on IM3 that are left. If I am wrong, I stand to be corrected. I'll let him chime in on it first hand.

I just got bit with the php issue today on a old site I have been running for numerous years now. I ended up deleting evey file pafiledb related so I got control of my admin panel back.

I guess if I would have upgraded regularly I would have been hit earlier.

the problem is that the album mod and pafiledb are the same from 1.4.x to 1.5.0.

Wow...really appreciate the time you guys are putting into this. Sounds like a real pain to do.

Sounds a little more long winded then I thought it was going to be. Glad to see you guys on it. I am terrible at doing that kind of stuff. All I was ever good at was tearing apart mods and making them work different or with other mods.

Not saying that's the easiest but certainly worth the effort... Nicks phpBB3 Gallery is up to date and a good deal faster when dealing with a large amounts of images...

It's early days yet... I'm just familiarising myself with the code again... both mods are huge... it's like playing chess and having to remember every move I make so if I have to back track on an edit I remember where I was before hand...

....
Just compared the DB's ... looks like a nightmare... Back to the drawing board
