Just wondering as it seems to run at about twice the speed of my site and that is running on a pretty powerful VPS.

It is the plesk VPS 200 with a 256 meg ram upgrade running Fedora Core 2
currently the ram upgrade is overkill. I added it to be sure that KisMod and my other sites would play nice together <img>

Interesting we're using the [url=http]Enterprise package from ServInt[/url] and you're running faster than we are.

We had to upgrade to that spec as the system was using about 320Kb of RAM on average to run the sites.

Does http://www.4winmobile.com run slowly for you? Mind you we are running M2F and Adsense and that could make the difference. Plus the BBLite modified theme we are using is relatively heavy graphically.

I cant tell much from the link, but this server is basicly at ground zero for internet connectivity on the west coast. We are right on the intenap backbone.

Also, compared to shared hosting, how difficult is it to manage a VPS? I am a pretty quick learner.... so that's a plus....

most VPS are very easy to learn. Im currently using the plesk control panel which has a much higher learning curve. I chose it because I do not like how CPanel asigns usernames and db names, but CPanel is much easier to learn and use. Spry has awsome tech support. If they cannot explain to me how to do something, they will do it for me.

Very much with the Network guys at ServInt, when I was first getting to grips with the VPS I needed a lot of help and it was there instantly.

With their help for the first time today I've got a PHP script crawling the site building an up to date sitemap - very happy me.

VPS are easy to learn but if you are not fgamiller then do take it in small steps or you can cock things up.
