De.scription and Message

As far as I know I had the latest update of the 1.40 stuff. Went on a business trip this past week. Came home just in time for some punk from Turkey to hack the forum. Yippee for me. In the process of going to 141. Any warnings I need to know about?

Tried a brand new install... ran through the instructions again. Same results. UGH.

For some reason the database update isn't doing anything and is saying it's already updated. HELP!

Guess since I'm the only one logged in... I'll try something different. LOL

Fresh install is up and running. Now a new problem. How do I get my old database information into the new one? I tried to copy the data though phpMyAdmin and received the following error:

-------------------------
SQL query:

INSERT INTO `club100_phpb2`.`phpbb_album_cat`
SELECT *
FROM `club100_phpb1`.`phpbb_album_cat`

MySQL said:

#1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
-------------------------

Anyone have the commands to manually update my old 140 database to match the tables of 141?

I've confirmed that both my test installs work with the NEW empty database. It's when I try to connect to the old database (lots of information) I'm getting errors.

So I'm guessing I need to either get my old database updated to 141 tables. (automated feature didn't work)... or I need to transfer the old DATA into the new database setup.

Also, it looks like my fresh installs has a problem. Most links give me a "localhost" page instead of my domain name in the URL. :x

use phpmyadmin and change the phpbb version to 2.0.21 and IM version to 140 and run db update again.
not sure why it stopped, but it should run quite a few querries.

Updated the old database. Apparently the hacker was in there. Now if I link 141 to the old database.... my site redirects to their server saying I was hacked. Boo!

Now where to find the hacked entries in my database.

SOB's edited the site name with a redirect.

Now I'm worried about them getting back again. Updating all passwords of course.

Terrific... I can't disable the board due to Cracker Tracker... and my old forums don't appear to show up and my members are back trying to post. ARGH!

untill your done, rename the ctracker folder. Youll get a few errors, but your board functions will work, while your working on your repairs
