De.scription and Message

Hey, I just got around to messing with some of the features that I've never messed with before and noticed the donation mod. That looks pretty cool, a way for people to contribute if they want and not have to subscribe or anything.

What should be put in these couple of lines?

Your PayPal account to receive payment from members:
Your personal account in PayPal:
Your premier/business account in PayPal:

I want to try it out <img>

I have tried this and it seemed to work the first 2 weeks after creating the forum.
I recently tried to donate, (everything is setup for my paypal account). When I did it, it took me to the paypal account and made the donation, but it doesn't show up in recent donations anymore.
I also setup a sub.scription forum, and someone subscribed and paid, but never allowed access. I'm not sure if these payments should show in the recent donation area, but it never showed.

LOL - I love the feature and hope to getting it working correctly.

I have setup free area of forum and a sub.scription area. After someone subscribed, I receive a email from paypal of the payment and I have had to goto the ACP and manually add the subsciption because it wouldn't do it automatically. Our forum isn't very busy yet so I can keep up with the sub.scriptions, but if it was busy, it would be a hassle.

Just thought I'd update you on this Frost.

I got it working, but the new donations block was working for the first donation, and then stopped. Apparently the security will block Paypals IP when communicating with paypal. It gets banned for DDos attack. I turned it to ignore and everything worked great after that. I was informed that I should turn it back on and play with the settings on the next line HIGH MEDIUM LOW I think are the settings. I set it to medium and will test it, but there should be a happy setting where paypals IP doesn't get banned anymore.
