The Snow Tire FAQ (http://www.snowtire.info) is about 14 years old. A couple of years ago, I decided to add a Forum to it, so I installed phpBB. Last January I moved the forum to IM 1.4.0. Now I think it might be a good time to get some feedback and comments on it.

The IM 1.4.0 forum can be found at http://www.snowtire.info/forum/. I have recently added some of the resource available off the main page to the downloads section, and I have started moving the content of the main page to the KB.

One area I am really interested in is the portal page. I have been playing with different ideas, and would love thoughts about them.

• [url=http]John's Quick List[/url] - This is one of my ideas. It looses the left side navigation bar, but I think it is a fairly clean look. (I could always create a horizontal navigation bar, but I haven't played that much.)
• [url=http]New FAQ Page[/url] - This is a start of an idea for completely re-doing the FAQ itself as part of a portal page. I have thought of doing another approach like this, but using KB articles on the portal page. It looks like I have to do some custom work to do that, so I haven't tried yet.

Suggestions on update / changes to the main page (http://www.snowtire.info) are also welcome.

I'm going over people's sites before I design my own.

I'm not sure about the homepage, but I think your portal and forum are great. How did you manage to fit so many sections on each page? Wonderful.
