[Solved!] MSTrenches Issues

Is this theme compatible w/1.4.0 and 2.0.20? I was having an alignment issue when a poll was included in a post. There also seemed to be a quote issue in the forums. I've uninstalled it until I could figure things out, but just wondering if anyone could give any feedback? Thanks........

not sure of your question. MSTrenches is in the 140 template catagory.

Yes, but I couldn't get it to work right. Do I have to do anything further after installation? Will I have to update files, b/c of the recent phpbb update?

it was updated to phpbb2.0.17, but has not been updated since.
What do you mean it does not work right? the demo site is 2.0.20

Just checking b/c when I had it installed I had an alignment problem whenever there was a poll included in a post, and quotes were not working right. Maybe I did something wrong. I'll try again later. Thanx.....

those are both known bugs with IM and I believe there are fixes posted on this site for them.
I think the quote problem was a typo in the original 140 2.0.20 premod files

I used the new pre-mods, and FI Subice quotes are working fine. I just double checked the fix and it is there. My ftp acts weird sometimes when I upload, maybe it was an incomplete upload or something....

try copying the bbcode.js from your fisubice to MSTrenches

gonna try that, but I think there's something wrong w/this theme. Just tested a quote @ the demo site. Scroll to the bottm and you can see the same behavior I'm experiencing.

Also, I wanted to test a poll out @ the demo site to see if the alignment got all screwed up, but I didn't have the rights. Maybe if you test one, you'll see what I mean. Thankyou for the assist! <img>

check the demo now and see if that looks a little better
also, open MSTrenches/simple_header.tpl and over write it with this

I can work w/that, but I'm real concerned about the way a poll screws up the page alignment. Have you had a chance to test out a poll?

Bump* Okay, for some reason my quotes never changed, but the tables w/the extra BG color isn't that big of a deal, and I can hold off on that for now, but I'm real concerned about this poll issue. Can it be repaired? and thankyou for your support so far <img>

sorry, ive been busy moving and I forgot to post on this. I found many small problems and had to edit many files. I updated the dl section with the new template yesterday. You can see it on the demo

I went to the demo, but still couldn't test polls. I'm guessing I should just download and overwrite?

Was the downloaded .zip file ever upgraded? I downloaded the file again and overwrote everything, but nothing changed. quotes w/no tables and poll screws w/page alignment. Even cleared cache for both IMportal and styles. <img> Not sure why yours works and mine don't. Can you confirm that the download .zip was changed and updated w/the fixes?

go to ACP/eXtreme Styles/manage cache and delete the cach for this style

I deleted cache so many times, it now says nothing to delete. Will have to try to un-install and re-install when time permits. ok, I logged into the founder account edited the dl file and tripple checked my source file. I cannot explain why it didnt work, but you can try dl'ing the file again.
