Hi Guys,

OK, installed PHPBB for a friend site and all working fine, pictures put between [flash=,:4rvpbhtz]abd[/flash:4rvpbhtz] tags work a treat in the forums. However on the Portal front page, they dotn appear correctly, they either appear with the tags around the link or just as a direct clickable link to the image. Any ideas please?

Also have something called itemstats which again works and displays fine in the forums, but not on the portal front page.

Any assistance appreciated.

Make sure that the block in which the image is to appear is set to an BBCode block and not a HTML block.

Go to ACP >> IM Portal >> Block Management >> Click on "edit" for the block in which the image should appear >> Make sure that the box "BBCode" is checked at "Type"...it's probably set to HTML now.

and many thanks for your quick response.

The block is, however, set to BBCode. Thing is if I click the [ Read Full ] link of the message containing the image, it does appear as an image in the post on the portal page. However when you just visit the portal page, the picture appears just as a link. You can see what I mean at [url=http]http://www.wow-requiem.co.uk[/url]........

OK, just sorted it whilst writing this, I increased the maximum carachters for news stories to some huge figure like 2500000000000000000 - the the [ Read Full ] link dissapears and the image is displayed inline....

News length was set to 250 characters.
