Did you unzip the beta on your PC then upload those files to your host?

You can do it that way, but sometimes files don't upload correctly is all.

Do you have CPanel on your host?

If so you can upload the zip file to your forum directory and use cpanels filemanager to unzip it.

Then your chmod's should be done for you and less of a chance of bad file uploads. <img>

That link redirects to an invalid link with no .COM in the URL on my end. Very strange.

http://dental%20lab%20forum/profile.php ... &sub=inbox

Can you post a link that doesn't require someone to be logged in? Do those pages work?

Mike SID removed from link

yes, everything works before you log in but as i log in i get blank page on this url:
http://www.dddentallab.com/login.php

at this point i tried to hit refresh and it didn't work, then i tried to hit back button twice and it returned me to the this url

http://www.dddentallab.com/index.php

and it shows me as loged in, with one new message showing as well, but when i click on message link to see what in the inbox i get blank page with this url

http://www.dddentallab.com/privmsg.php?folder=inbox
i am really not sure what to do, the forum domain is http://www.dddentallab.com and i have created user

testuser and testing as password for the user if anyone wants to check it out i would appreciate this

I've never seen this redirect thing where the location changes in the URL like that. You might double check your cookie name and domain in your admin (or config file if you can't get to the admin part) that you have .ddentallab.com as your domain setup.

Sorry, may not be in there, might be in the database or something. I currently don't have a forum up yet. Hoping to do a clean install tonight. Silly Hackers...

Never post a link containing the SID... Firstly it can allow access under certain conditions (if your real clever) and secondly it should result in a blank page...

zula, After I removed the SID for my link I can browse the site perfectly. If the problem is only when a user logs in, set up a temp member so we can test...

yes, i mentioned it in previous posts,

"testuser" as log in
"testing" as a password.

also, if you click to view only forum i have on it, which is "Welcome new member", then you will see blank page withouth loging in
