Some questions

PostAuthor: Omni-Hae » Tue Sep 12, 2006 10:15 am

Please excuse me if the questions I have are unrelated to the Beta. This is my first use of Integramod. I realize I should be using 1.40, but as my Host is already using PHP5, there was little choice.

First:
For some reason when I goto my website Abilities Research, the first page I see is the Forums, not Home Page.

Second:
When I login using as my admin user I have to login twice. The first time just refreshes' the Home page without actually logging me in. The second time logs me in which then gives me access to the Admin link to Login for ACP.

Third:
CrackTracker keeps blocking me from accessing certain pages within the ACP. The first being Security > Info: PHPInfo, there are others but I can't find them right now.

Lastly:
Is there an expected date to Live for 1.41?

Thank you for your time in answering my questions.

Well I still think this topic should belong to the IM 1.4.0 forum. <img>

Anyway:

1) Since the forums is using index.php, your browser will of course go to the forums. You can overcome that with a .htaccess, with the content "DirectoryIndex portal.php index.php" (without the quotes).

2) Could be a cookies problem.

3) Not sure.

4) RC4 is already released, so the release date should not be far.

Thanks Jacky, the .htaccess fixed my first viewed page issue and a quick clearing of cookies/cache fixed the second issue.

Since you are using 141 live, we cannot offer you any support. Also 141 beta's are not upgradeable from one RC release to the next and will not be upgradeable to final.

We are working hard to release 141 but we do not have a release date or time frame of any kind.

To the 3rd issue I can only offer a workarround for the php-info part. Use the one under Tools instaid of the one at security.
Anyhow... my question to that is; in the CrackerTracker configuration panel there is the following option:

Proxy & Agent Blocker
Here you can globally activate or deactivate the Proxy & Agent Blocker Feature of CBACK CrackerTracker. If this Module is deactivated, the System ignores the defined Blacklist in the ACP.

At the end is says "System ignores the defined Blacklist in the ACP". Wouldn't this imply that it's the solution to problem nr3?
I've tried setting it to disabled, but there is no change. Under Security "php-info" is blocked, but not under Tools.

Hmmm... Anything more on that? I can imagine that it might be able to cause other problems as well.
